From runway to lagoon

We ask for full payment at the time of booking — normally within 24 hours, though we can wait 2–3 days for a special situation. The reservation is not valid until the payment process has started and you have told us by WhatsApp.

The reason: Paolyn operates only 8 houseboats yet employs over 300 people, and our direct prices are around 15 % lower than Airbnb or Expedia to keep cash flowing to the Tagbanua community.

Free rebooking for any reason — but not within the last 21 days before arrival, when we can no longer resell the room.

For other cancellations we unfortunately do not refund. Within the last 21 days we can still offer full rebooking or even a full refund if we manage to resell your room, so tell us as early as you can.

We strongly recommend it — a few dollars protect you against cancelled ferries and flights as well as the rest of your trip.

The fast ferry takes about 4–6 hours and is sometimes cancelled for technical problems or sea conditions, and expedition boats are even less reliable. Consider the 35–40-minute AirSWIFT or Cebu Pacific flight, which can cost a similar amount.

Add children older than two to the adults when you book; under-twos are free in all family rooms — note them in the reservation. Pets are welcome.

Standard check-in is 2:00 pm and check-out 12:00 noon. For guests who book directly, early pick-up and late drop-off are complimentary, and we make the room available as early as possible. Until your transfer, normally about 4:00 pm, the common areas, showers, sunbeds, kayaks and snorkel gear are yours.

Prices on this site already include 5 % off for direct bookings, and are already below any online booking platform. The discount does not apply over the four weeks of Christmas, Chinese New Year and Holy Week.
